Musical practices
Cello
I've invested a great deal of time into shaping my skill with this classical instrument for all of my Junior High and High school life. I've learned that music is an expression of the composers. Music is also like water. It constantly changes its emotional pull as the musician drags the sound with deep and somber sounds or elevate the tone with lifted sound and high energy.
Music is an art in and of its self. Honing my skills as a musician is one of the many joys that life has to offer. I have practiced music for the majority of my life and in each lesson I am able to learn more about each culture and their history. Expanding my knowledge through music is one of my joys even if my skills are weak.
Piano
Piano was my door into music. Playing the piano made me exercise and develop a skill in hand eye coordination which ultimately becomes useful when learning all instruments and and can be applied to many life situations. The piano also helped me learn to read in multiple musical clefs which has proven most valuable in learning multiple instruments.
